Dental Medical Emergency, CPR and AED Training

Dental Medical Emergency, CPR and AED training courses are designed to equip candidates with CPR, Dental Medical Emergency, Airway and Defibrillator skills.

Courses are taught only by Resuscitation Council accredited instructors who also teach to hospital cardiac arrest teams. Each trainer is an expert in their field and will provide you and your staff with the most up to date training methods as well as offer a wealth of knowledge from direct hands-on experience.

Dental Medical Emergency, CPR and AED training sessions are tailored specifically towards the dental practice. Certificates can be used towards your verifiable enhanced CPD requirements as per GDC 2018 guidelines.

Our Dental Practice CPR courses can include Dental medical emergencies, AED (defibrillator) training, emergency drugs and equipment such as bag valve mask ventilation.

Who Is The Course For

Dental Practice medical emergencies, CPR and AED training courses are suitable for anyone working within the dental industry including dentists, dental nurses, receptionists and support staff, and will meet your enhanced CPD requirements as per GDC 2018 guidelines.

Number Of Candidates

This course can accommodate up to 12 or more candidates but will also depend on the size of the training area and session length.

Content and course duration:

CPR, AED, airway management, O2 therapy, emergency drugs and equipment and Dental medical emergencies to include the following over a suggested time of 4 hours:
Asthma
Anaphylaxis. This can include intramuscular injection training with needle and syringe as time allows.
Chest pain
Fainting
Seizure
Hypoglycaemia
Choking
Recovery position in the dental chair
Consolidation with dental chair BLS scenarios as time allows.

Candidates shall be issued with verifiable enhanced CPD certificates as per GDC requirements 2018.
