ResusPlus Training is a clinical specialist training provider for First Aid, Resuscitation (CPR) and Medical Emergency Training. We focus on providing training for healthcare professionals, businesses, nurseries and educational organisations to enable you to meet your required level of certification. We are proud of our interactive, affordable training which enables candidates to develop confidence and learn life saving skills in First Aid and Medical Emergencies in an engaging, enjoyable way.

Our Team

We have clinical healthcare specialists driving our organisation. We all share a passion and commitment for teaching lifesaving skills and helping candidates understand and learn these core skills. We’ve taken the work out of learning, so that candidates find our courses easy, logical and fun.

Lynn Fox

Lynn has been a Registered Nurse for over 25 years in cardiac & intensive care, emergency triage and for 11 years as a Senior Resuscitation Officer for the NHS. Lynn now owns and instructs full time for ResusPlus Training and is a First Aid at Work Instructor (Health & Safety Executive and Ofqual (Qualsafe) approved) as well as a Resuscitation Council approved instructor for the Generic Instructor Course (GIC), European Paediatric Life Support (EPLS) course and instructor and director for Immediate (ILS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) courses.

Tracey Hearn

Tracey has been a Registered Nurse for over 12 years in A&E and ITU. She has been an A&E Sister and an A&E Emergency Nurse Practitioner. She is now working part time as an NHS hospital Resuscitation Officer and for ResusPlus Training as a Resuscitation and First Aid Trainer. Tracey is a Resuscitation Council approved instructor for Immediate Life Support (ILS), Advanced Life Support (ALS) and European Paediatric Life Support accredited courses (EPLS).

Caroline Smith

Caroline is a Registered Nurse and has worked in the Intensive Therapy setting for 20 years and as an ITU Sister. She is now working part time as an NHS hospital Resuscitation Officer and as a First Aid at Work Instructor (as per Health & Safety Executive) for ResusPlus Training. Caroline is also a Resuscitation Council approved instructor and director for Immediate (ILS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) courses.

Jan Southam

Jan is an experienced First Aid Instructor and specialises in Health and Safety, First Aid training for ResusPlus. Jan has gained much of her clinical and hands-on experience from working within the NHS emergency services, cardiac rehabilitation and spinal injuries sectors combined with over 10 years in the fitness industry as a Referral Consultant and Personal Trainer.

 

Ray Scott

Ray has been a paramedic for many years and now specialises in Health and Safety, First Aid training for ResusPlus as well as continuing to supply paramedic coverage to sporting and other events.
